A Mavs Mother's Day

This past Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day with both of our moms. I woke up early and met my mom and dad at for church. After the service, we headed back to their house to have breakfast. We had a nice time cooking eggs, bacon, and toast and enjoyed sitting around the kitchen table and chatting for a while. I am very thankful for my mom and I hope she knows how much I appreciate her (even though I don't always show it!). She accepts me for me and is very supportive. Here are some pretty pics of us from my wedding day.

This one is extra special because here my mom is giving me my great grandmother Baba's ring as my something old. Very sweet moment!

My mom is a wonderful gardner so I took some time before I left to admire her yard. She just had the front yard relandscaped and it looks great!

After breakfast with my parents, Eric and I headed to the American Airlines Center to watch Game 4 of the Mavs and Lakers series with his parents. What an awesome game to be at! The Mavs completely swept the Lakers and showed them no mercy this game. The whole arena was full of energy and we had a great time with Eric's parents watching the Mavs whoop the Lakers.

They wouldn't let me snap a picture at the game, so here is one of Eric and his mom on their horses. They both have a great love for animals, especially the horses at the ranch.

Eric and I very fortunate that both of our moms live about 20 minutes from us. It is nice to know they are a short car ride away. Thanks to both of you for being great moms!
