A couple of weeks ago, Eric and I and my parents attended the wedding of one of my childhood friends from Corpus Christi, Emily Williams. The wedding was in Houston, so we drove down Saturday morning. We dropped Ollie off at the
dog resort and headed south with my parents. Poor Eric had to work in the car on our way down though. When we got into town, mom and dad refrained from making Eric see their first apartment where they met and we had lunch at Willy G's seafood restaurant where we had gumbo and shrimp po boys. We checked into our hotel and relaxed for a little while until we had to get ready to be at the church. The ceremony took place at Memorial Park Presbyterian Church. They had a nice ceremony that showed both of their personalities. Emily looked stunning in her dress. Jenna Davis, another of my childhood friends, was the matron of honor. We had a great time seeing her and her parents and meeting her 7 month old baby, Bentley. After the ceremony, we headed over to where the reception was being held. It was at
Ousie's Table, which was a super cute restaurant/event space. We had a great time at the wedding and Emily and her new husband, Sonny, looked so happy! Here are some pictures from the night.
