Baby Base Reveal

Back in November, we had a photographer friend take some pictures to help us announce that we were expecting. They turned out great! I love them all. I had uploaded these a while ago and never published the post, so it is better late than never! They were taken in Richardson at Prairie Creek Park.

Ryan {Week 14)

Ryan had another fun week last week! He is getting so big! Every day he is more interactive and just as sweet!

 Slowly but surely these two will become best friends!

 He sat in the bumbo chair for the first time this week! He does pretty good! His head bobbled some but he liked it and he can support himself pretty well.

 The highlight of our week was Cate's birthday party. She had a unicorn!

Ryan {Week 13}

This past week Ryan has been extra fun with big sweet grins and lots of talking!

 Lazy Sunday morning. I went to take a shower and Eric and Ollie fell asleep on the babysitting job!

Eric went out of town Tuesday and Wednesday night, so we were on our own. This is is fussy time from 5:00-6:00. We were just trying to make it to bath time!

 Brother Ollie didn't seem to care about Ryan's problems though.

 Burrito baby! He does great being swaddled going to sleep. He does usually get his hands out sometime during the night though.

 Good morning! He is always so sweet when I get him from his crib in the morning. We undo his swaddle and he does his stretches.

Being a big brother is rough on Ollie.

 Saturday was his cousin Greer's 1st birthday! She had a lady bug themed party. I didn't get very many pictures unfortunately. Happy birthday sweet Greer!

And so I don't forget - this week we switched to size 2 diapers.

Ryan {3 Months}

Ryan is three months old! I have obviously been busy with my boy and not blogging! He turned three months old on July 7th. He is becoming so much fun!

Some things to remember about him at three months old:

• He has been sleeping through the night for over a month now. He gets fussy between 5:00 and 6:00 and we start bath time at 6:00. He loves the bath and it instantly makes him happy again. We play and splash and then he eats for usually around 40 minutes. He then gets wrapped up in his swaddle, kiss and hug and down for bed! He doesn't have to be rocked or held. He just lays there and talks for a while and then puts himself to sleep. Eric and I cook dinner after he goes to bed and I pour myself a well deserved glass of wine! He usually wakes up about 6:30. I wish he would sleep a little longer, but I will take it!
• He eats like a champ. He eats 5 times a day, every three hours during the day. We are still exclusively breast feeding. He is growing, healthy boy!
• He takes a nap after each feeding as well. Usually a longer one after the first feeding and no nap after his last feeding usually (see above - fuss baby at this time!)
• He has become very talkative this last month! He loves to make noises and especially talk to his dad. They have their special talking times and have a lot of fun.
• He also has found his hands this past month. He sucks on them from time to time and is able to grab things now. 
• There really is not too big of interest in toys right now. I try to interest him in things, but usually nothing works. He lays on his little play mat and looks at the hanging toys and will grab them some.
• Smiles! He has the biggest smiles now! It is super cute. As mentioned above, he is quite talkative and usually this leads to smiles! When he is nursing, he will stop and look up at me and just smile and grin and it melts my heart! So sweet. He really is the sweetest baby boy. The only time he is really fussy is in the evening and if it is hungry. Usually an easy fix!
• He is into looking at the television if it is on.
