Who can forget about Ollie??

Well, I cannot forget about Ollie! These pics came off of our camera, so I have to share. And I have been waiting for the At&T Uverse guy since 8 am and it is now 12:49, so you can tell I am bored. His pictures don't need captions - he is cute enough!

"Olie stick!"

These pictures are from back in October, but are too cute not too share. Our two year old niece Blair came over because she wanted to see "Olie" (that is how she says it without the two Ls). It is super cute. Blair loves Olie and they had so much fun playing in the back yard. Uncle Eric looks like he had a good time too (even though he was barely awake!).

 "Olie stick!" She holds out a stick to him and wants him to take it from her.

New Camera: Sony NEX 5N {Ollie Pics}

As you probably know from reading my blog for a while, most of my pics either come from my iPhone or my Sony Cybershot that is on it's last leg. My food photography skills are slowly getting better now that Eric is taking an interest in "food styling". We decided since we are going to France and Spain we needed to upgrade our camera so we can take high quality photos of all the fabulous things we are going to see. We decided on the Sony NEX 5N. It is in between the big DSLR cameras and a point and shoot. Neither of us had any interest in having to lug around a big camera, but if we were going to spend some money, we wanted it to be on something worthwhile.

It has a really nice lense that comes with it and you can buy bigger more wide angle lenses and other accessories. I think we are really going to like it! Of course we came home and had to test it out and by test it out we took a bunch of pictures of Ollie. Enjoy!

 Don't mind our grass that needs to be mowed. Or the tree that needs to be landscaped around. Wow, you can really see everything with this camera!

Happy Labor Day! {Ranch Style}

We spent part of our Labor Day weekend up at Eric's family ranch. We had a relaxing weekend with not too many tasks to do (always a relief!) and most of our time was spent playing with our niece Blair, which is just how I like it!

Hi Lilly.

We got back Sunday afternoon and I ran around doing some errands to prepare for upcoming European Vacation! I got home and in honor of us going to Paris, Eric had got out the French cook book and was making some fancy french dish. Post to come on that. I can't even remember the name of the dish, but it was something I had never heard of.  It was very very good! Short week this week! Yay! Hope every enjoyed their "labor-less" day today!
