Last Saturday, Eric and I attended The Event, the annual charity fundraiser for Our Friends Place. Our Friends Place is an organization that is "helping young girls and young woman soar to success". It is a great group that runs group homes for women in need. Eric's coworker Stacey was a co-chair of the event and his company BDO was a sponsor. Stacey did a wonderful job planning the evening. The Event was held at Bent Tree Country Club. There was great food, silent auctions and a live auction, casino tables (we played craps), and a DJ for dancing at the end of the night. We had a great time hanging out with several of Eric's coworkers and their significant others.

The evening was emceed by Greg Fields, meteorologist for Channel 8 News and his wife, Robbie Owens, reporter for Channel 11. They were a really cute couple!
